While local leaders are deciding the fate of the historic grounds of the Alamo, one block away an upcoming attraction promises to bring the story of the Battle for Texas to life. Downtown mall adding Battle for Texas attraction next to Alamo

Rivercenter Mall’s makeover will include a new cultural element that will better connect the downtown shopping center with its next-door neighbor — the famous Alamo. Battle for Texas: The Experience is a new attraction set to open in February.
