Interactive Alamo Experience Set to Move Into Joske’s Building Downtown

After a year of construction and ‘no comment’ from officials, it has finally been revealed that a new interactive tourist attraction called ‘Battle for Texas: the Experience’ will be moving into the old Joske’s department store at Rivercenter Mall, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports. Downtown mall adding Battle for Texas attraction next to Alamo

Rivercenter Mall’s makeover will include a new cultural element that will better connect the downtown shopping center with its next-door neighbor — the famous Alamo. Battle for Texas: The Experience is a new attraction set to open in February. The 22,000-square-foot permanent exhibition will feature a number of Alamo artifacts and multi-media re-enactments of one of the world’s more famous battles.
